First Notice, The 2014 HyspIRI Product Symposium

HyspIRI: Enabling the Evolution of Sustainable Land & Aquatic Imaging with New Approaches and Products

How can HyspIRI strategies contribute to meeting Sustainable Land Imaging requirements?

Dates: June 4-5, followed by half day Coastal/Aquatic Forum on June 6
Location: NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Building 34

We invite you to participate in our 4th Annual HyspIRI Product Symposium at NASA/GSFC, which will cover:
* The evolving HyspIRI mission and products;
* Science & application studies: ecosystems, agriculture, coastal/aquatic, health, and disasters/natural hazards;
* HyspIRI's role in Sustainable Land Imaging (SLI);
* The HyspIRI Airborne Campaign;
* Calibration Approaches;
* The Intelligent Payload Module (IPM), Data Management Approaches and Tools;
* Demonstrations for Data Processing and Communication Tools; and
* An additional half day session devoted to a Coastal/Aquatic Studies Forum.

Registration is required, as NASA must arrange for badges for non-NASA employees. For NASA personnel, this meeting is designated as a "Non-Reportable" conference. When registering, please indicate if you are submitting a poster or wish to request one of the limited number of open oral presentation slots.   Titles for Posters and Oral Presentations should be sent by May 15 to Lisa Henderson (email below).  A draft agenda will be posted by April 1.

US citizens are required to register on the HyspIRI website before May 15. Non-US citizens must register by April 25, 2014 (by March 24, 2014 for designated countries), and provide their full name, country of origin, affiliation, and email address.

The Symposium Convener is Elizabeth Middleton, along with GSFC Team Members Petya Campbell, Dan Mandl, Steve Ungar, and Kevin Turpie. Partners are Rob Green (JPL) and Simon Hook (JPL) and the NASA/HQ Program Manager is Woody Turner. Logistics and inquiries are handled by Lisa Henderson.
