First Notice, The 2015 HyspIRI Science Symposium

Evolving the HyspIRI Mission and Products: HyspIRI Strategies to Meet Sustainable Land & Aquatic Imaging Needs.

Dates: June 3-5, followed by the HyspIRI Aquatic Group on June 5
Location: NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Building 34, Room W150

We invite you to participate in our 5th Annual HyspIRI Mission & Products Symposium at NASA/GSFC, which will cover:

  • HyspIRI Mission Updates & Relevance
  • SLI’s approaches and solutions for science products
  • Onboard Processing and Efficient Data Product Distribution
  • Calibration/validation activities
  • Lunar Vicarious Calibration
  • Higher level products
  • Developments in the coastal and inland aquatic community

 

FINAL AGENDA

Registration is required to attend the HyspIRI Symposium.   Please indicate if you are submitting a poster or wish to request one of the limited number of open oral presentation slots.  Title for posters and oral presentations should be sent to Lisa Henderson (lisa.henderson@nasa.gov) by May 22, 2015.  A draft agenda will be posted on the HyspIRI website.

All non-NASA attendees must register on the HyspIRI website to be issued a NASA badge.  For NASA employees, this is a Non-Reportable” conference. US citizens are required to register on the HyspIRI website before COB  May 27, 2015.  All foreign nationals born in a DESIGNATED COUNTRY and/or who hold DESIGNATED COUNTRY citizenship must be submitted in IDMAX with all required documents (i.e., valid passport, valid visa and signed TTCP) by April 30, 2015. All foreign nationals born in a NON-DESIGNATED country and/or who hold NON-DESIGNATED COUNTRY citizenship must be submitted in IDMAX with all required documents (i.e., valid passport, valid visa and signed TTCP) by COB, May 8, 2015.

The Symposium Convener is Elizabeth Middleton, along with GSFC Team Members Petya Campbell, Dan Mandl, Steve Ungar, and Kevin Turpie.  Partners are Rob Green and Simon Hook (JPL) and the NASA/HQ Program Manager, Woody Turner.  Logistics and inquiries are handled by Lisa Henderson.
