It is our pleasure to announce that the HyspIRI Science Symposium will be held on 29-30 of May 2013 and to invite your participation. The Symposium will be hosted by the HyspIRI Group at Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, MD.

This year's meeting title is "HyspIRI Products for Societal Benefit Areas (SBAs) and Aquatic Studies."

The session's topics will be closely aligned with the NASA Applied Sciences Focus Areas and the Earth Science Technology priorities, including:

  1. Coastal/Inland Aquatic and Terrestrial Ecosystems Products including Ecological Forecasting
  2. Data Products Related to Environmental and Human Impacts, including Disasters, Natural Hazards, Water Management and Public Health
  3. Automated, Rapid Processing for Low Latency Data Products including Disaster Observations.

The Symposium will review recent accomplishments and outline the requirements of the data products supported by HyspIRI.  The coordination of products across international satellite missions will also be addressed.  The conference format will include presentations, working sessions, and posters.
