This year's event will be focused on regional to global products from HyspIRI. The 2011 HyspIRI Science Symposium on Ecosystem & Environmental Data Products will occur on May 17 & 18 at the NASA/Goddard Space Flight Visitor Center in Greenbelt, MD. Anyone may attend (i.e., no NASA Visitor badges are needed), but attendance is limited to 120 people and registration is required at http://hyspiri.jpl.nasa.gov/.
- What are the 10 highest priority products for climate and societal benefit?
- How will they be produced?
- How will they uniquely support NASA science & application goals?
We will build on the background and framework begun in the May 2010 HyspIRI Science Symposium on Ecosystem Data Products, which focused on terrestrial ecosystems and agriculture to “Identify Potential Higher Level Products for End Users”. We currently have 50 oral talks scheduled and 13 posters will be displayed.
